Village of Nissequogue Planning Board

An Overview

The Planning Board consists of volunteer residents appointed by the Mayor & Trustees who are responsible for preparing the Village Master Plan in compliance with provisions of the New Your Municipal Land Use Law (MLUL) and who are responsible for reviewing zoning ordinances referred to them by the Mayor & Trustees.

Board Composition

The Planning Board consists of five members.

Planning Board Meetings

The Planning Board meets for Public Hearing once each month on the first (1st) Monday at 7:00 PM at the Nissequogue Village Hall, 631 Moriches Road, St James, NY 11780.

Future Proposals

Applicants who are contemplating a future proposal of their property to be submitted to the Planning Board, may contact the Planning Board Secretary to be placed on the agenda.
